Children are funny little buggers in the way they see and interpret the world, including their ideas of age, measurements, time and of course, possessions. The best part is that kids are sure their interpretations and ideas are straight-up Gospel, and happy to spread their good word. Even if it makes you 104 years old, weighing ten pounds and standing a solid 10,500 inches tall.
WITHOUT prompting, ask your child these questions.
- What is something I say a lot?
- What makes me happy?
- What makes me sad?
- How tall am I?
- What's my favorite thing to do?
- What is my favorite food?
- What is my favorite drink?
- If I could go anywhere, where would I be?
- Do you think you could live without me?
- How do I annoy you?
- What is my favorite TV show?
- What is my favorite music to listen to!
- What is my job?
- How old am I?
- what's my favorite color?
- How much do you love me?
