I admit, when it comes to the holidays I am the one to cringe and say, Here We Go... Don't get me wrong, I love things about the holidays, but sometimes it all can be very overwhelming with all of the shopping, decorations, baking, family gatherings, parties... However, FTD LOVES the holidays. Loves. He cranks up the holiday music and drags out the Christmas tree before Thanksgiving dinner hits the table. Seriously. That man cannot get enough holiday cheer and Christmas music.

| Even Ollie is like, Dad... I think you are most stoked to see Santa than me... Now that the holidays are over, and the holiday madness is behind me, I cannot help but be super excited about this big open year of possibilities! I hope to do big things... No. I PLAN to do big things. I want to continue to develop my writing and writing career. I want to publish some of my fiction, and even screenplay ideas! I want to put the man-child in daycare a couple of days a week for socialization, and to keep me from losing my Stay-At-Home-Mommy mind. I plan to continue to work with FTD to create an awesome family dynamic (Read: Figure out how to not let the kid walk all over us.), and most of all, work to keep my family healthy, happy and thriving in the new year. |
That being said, I also plan to accept Fate's plan for me and my family. I know Fate has a plan, and will throw in all kinds of ups and downs. But, isn't Fate's plan what makes life more exciting and interesting? Being that I am a Taurus, I am not exactly one to embrace change when it happens, but I know it is necessary to keep life moving, and of course, keep me growing as a person. In fact, nine times out of ten, change makes me a much better person. So, bring it Fate, I am ready for you!
Bottom line: 2014 I have very big plans for you, so let's do this!
