My toddler is climbing the walls... Ain't Nobody got time for that!

 (This post is a homage to Sweet Brown-if you do not know who she is, you have got to watch the YouTube video at the end of this post.  It will make your day!)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Well... I got up off the couch to go into the kitchen to get me a cold POP! And out of the corner of my eye I think I see the cat climbing up the couch....

But then I realized it wasn't the cat after all, I said, "Oh Lord Jesus it's Ollie! He is climbing up the couch, Jesus!"

Then I ran out of the kitchen! I didn't set my cold pop down, or nuthin' Jesus! I ran for Ollie's life, Lord Jesus!

And then, just as I was about to get to him, he turned around like he was going to jump off the couch! The Fear got me Jesus! It got me!  I pooped my pants!

Ain't Nobody got time for that!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This whole climbing thing began a couple of weeks ago when he started trying to pull himself up on furniture.... then eventually he tried to just climb the furniture...

Then he started climbing up on his toys to get to the top of something... Now, he pushes the damn things over to where he wants to climb!

Seriously!  LOOK AT THAT!
He just pushed it over,
right in front of me!

He seriously thinks he does no wrong!

Now he just climbs up on EVERYTHING!
This is a rocking chair!  It moved the whole time,
but he still got up!

I know... I am so screwed, my child is the next Evel Knievel!

I cannot take my eye off of him for minute... no, not even a second!

Ain't nobody got time for that!

As promised... without further ado... here is Sweet Brown... After the initial news interview there is a remix, you definitely should keep watching.

Ah hahah! I've never heard of Sweet Brown before, that's hilarious!

Now... to Ollie & his climbing adventures... yep, it's fun fun FUN all round! Isaiah has been climbing for awhile, means I've got to keep my eyes on him constantly. If it's any consolation, he's starting to climb down things now so he doesn't get stuck and flail around. This afternoon I found him standing in a draw, trying to pull the higher one out of the next set of drawers so he could keep moving upwards. Ain't nobody got time for that! Bahaha

Yes ma'am... welcome to the world of "OMG- Does this require a trip to the ER???" Between finding Chase in the damn stroller the other day to him climbing from couch to couch, to him climbing the damn chairs to reach over his sister's nightstand to try to dump the fish bowl... yesterday he was thinking he was hot stuff, and fell flat backwards hitting his head on the tile. I was right next to him, all slow motion, I grabbed his foot, but a second too late... apparently I was more scared than he was- he rubbed his head for a minute than took off to tear after something else... and this is why I've aged 10 years in less than 2 :(

OMG this is so funny! I have never seen Sweet Brown before but apparently everyone I work with has! That is my local news anchor! I can't believe I missed it!

Anyway, I've been following you for a couple of months now, ftm & 30 weeks pregnant, and I absolutely love everything you have to say! Thank you for being so honest and funny!

Whaaaa? Sweet Brown hasn't made it to NZ yet? I'm glad I got to share with you then...

Ok, the fact that super I is making steps out of the drawers.... CLASSIC! Reminds me of a show that used to be on years ago called Webster.

Jessika the video of Chase climbing on to the chair to get into the stroller is priceless... oh and the look on his face when he realized he was caught, Beyond priceless!

I've decided I have aged 5 years in 1 so I guess I am right on track.

The photo of James unloading the pantry is my favorite. And when you said, "amazing what a mom will let her kid get away with to make dinner in peace..." I have done that many a time. You should see the bathroom TP roll and kleenex box after I am finished getting ready for the day!

YAY! Thank you for following, and commenting, that really means a lot to me. Oh and you missed Sweet Brown because you are 30 weeks pregnant!! I forgot the whole back side of my pregnancy, possibly because I couldn't see around my massive baby bump!

Thanks again for following!

xx

I got bronchitis! Aint nobody got time for that! Brilliant.

Ollie climbing is totally natural and normal...if, like my crazy family counts as natural and normal. All the kids did it at his age :)

LMAO. I keep hoping one miracle weekend full of relaxation and pampering may help reverse the aging, but so far no luck :/
