Kid Embrace Character Car Seats. Like NOTHING you've seen before... (Review & #GIVEAWAY!)

*First Time Mom and Dad Were Provided with the following product in order to facilitate a through review.  All Opinions expressed are our own.

I am so excited about today's review (& Giveaway!!). The Kids Embrace Batman car seat is by far one of the absolute coolest products First Time Mom and Dad has ever had the privilege of reviewing.  I mean... Hellooooo LOOK AT IT!!
It. Has. A Cape.

... A toddler car seat that turns into a booster seat, that is jam-packed with safety features, attention to detail that is absolutely mind-blowing, extra wide and deep cup holders AND a CAPE!?! Yes, my friends... this is easily one of the greatest products we have ever had the pleasure of reviewing...

As much as I want to dive into how incredibly cool this car seat looks, and how the attention to detail and stitching are outstanding, I have to start with the safety features because lets face it, no matter how cool it looks, if it does not keep your child safe then it's not worth a dime!

Luckily, the Kids Embrace designers (Who are also parents!) felt the exact same way. Each of the four character car seats currently available from Kids Embrace-- Batman, Dora the Explorer, Sponge Bob, and for a limited time, a Dale Earnhardt Chair-- have an incredible amount of safety extras added on...

The Batman Seat...

Batman Car Seat Features & Specs:
  • Harnessed Booster Weight Limit: 22-65 lbs.
  • Booster Car Seat Weight Limit: 30-100 lbs.
  • Extended Use Five-Point Harness
  • Easy to Install LATCH Connectors
  • One Hand Harness Tightner
  • Two-Position Crotch Strap
  • Built In Belt Guides
  • Two-Position Recline
  • Deep Seat
  • Wraparound Headrest
  • Side Impact Tested
  • High Density EPS Foam
  • Removeable and Machine Washable Cover
  • Three-Position Adjustable Headrest
  • Dual Cupholders
  • High Impact Thermoplastic Seat Shell
  • Patent Pending High Position Top Tether System

Ok, now for the Car Seat Features & Specs I LOVED!!
  • Super Easy Adjustable 5-point harness-- Thanks to the wildly fluctuating temperatures this  winter, every time I put Ollie in the car he is in a different jacket, ranging from light to heavy, so naturally his seat straps need to be adjusted. Our last seat was ridiculously hard with knobs to turn and things to pull.  Ugh.  The Kids Embrace makes it easy with one button you push to loosen, and one strap to pull tight!

  • Extra padding EVERYWHERE! including built-in (removable for washing) seatbelt pads. Seriously there are safety pads all over this seat, even in places Ollie doesn't even touch!
Would you just look at that attention to detail!!
    I want Abs like that!!
  • The wrap-around head rest is super large and extra padded-LOVE this. All seats are tested for side impact safety.
I'll admit, that face staring at you in the rear view mirror is...
    kinda of reassuring...
in a scary sort of way.
  • The Cup Holders are EXTRA deep so they hold any size cup and a snack cups!

You have not lived until your child has TWO cup holders!!!
  • The Cape is fully removable- It's attached by Velcro. Such a cool touch!
    It's a built-in blanket of awesomeness!
Most of all, I feel safe with Ollie in it.
Cake Pops and Batman... Big Boy Bliss.
He thinks it is the coolest seat on the planet.

And FTD... He wants his own. He, too, was completely blown away by how well the Kids Embrace car seat was made.  Don't worry, he will be telling you in his own words below in the comments...

How do you get your child a super badass Character Car Seat from Kids Embrace?  Currently, you can buy one of the four online, or in Babies "R" US Stores across the U.S.

  1. How freaking cool!!! LOVE the cape! Oh and all the safety features. I checked out the website and saw they had batman, dora, spongebob, and dale earnhart Jr. Although I do have to say that batman is my favorite handsdown. Ollie looks so cute in his seat!! Now if only they made a FTD sized one...

  2. On a sidenote.... I wish they had a star wars one! How cool would a Yoda carseat be?? Instead of a cape there could be a Jedi robe... or a lightsaber

    1. HAHAHA! If that happened, FTD would own one too, how cares if he could fit in it. Yeas, this seat ooooozes coolness.

  3. OMG. I went to the site, SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS IS THE ILLEST THING I HAVE SEEN> I WANT A BIG SEAT FOR ME!!! Seriously cool designs and all the safety stuff that is so important.

  4. The featured carseat for me was the Batman carseat! These are so cool!

  5. Ok...allow me to expand on what the 'ole FTM laid out for you in the above review.

This ain't JUST a novelty Batman chair...It's kinda like having a new best friend! I find myself making excuses to take the car for a spin just so I can have alone time with the legendary caped crusader! We pump up the music, roll the windows down and cruise up n down the main street together in awesome crime-fighting style. He holds my beers, listens to my whinging and glares knowingly at me through the rear-vision mirror. AWESOME!

Seriously - If you have kids (or not), this is the giveaway that you wanna sign up for. It's really well made, cleverly designed, strong, safe, STYLIN' and will grow with your children for years to come!

  6. Each of the characters featured in the car seats are so cool! My personal favorite is Batman as I grew up watching that show. Really love how the company combined fun and safety all in one!

  7. LOVE..LOVE...LOVEEEEE Batman!!! I can't get over how cool these seats are!

  8. Batman is sooo cool!

  9. The Batman one is featured. These are so cute!

  10. The one I saw at the bottom of the page is the Dale Earnhardt Jr one.

  11. They are introducing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Car Seat

  12. I love the TMNT car seat that they have coming out. My hubby would just die. Even if we don't win a seat we might end up buying that one.

  13. Mine rotated through Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, then Batman, then Dora, then SpongeBob, then Dale Earnhardt Jr. for me.

  14. Did you happen to announce the winner for this somewhere, and I just totally missed it? Or have you not announced the winner yet? I AM pretty oblivious to most things, so I probably missed it!
