Thank you motherhood for teaching me my biggest life lesson so far...

So far Motherhood has taught me so much about myself and abilities (Helloooo a super human level of patience I never knew existed!), but by far the best thing I have learned is that...

My new outlook on life is all about priorities, and what really matters most...

My Family.
Nothing in this world means more to me than my family.
Everything else is secondary.

Pre-motherhood I would allow myself to get so wrapped up in drama. Now, thanks to becoming a mother, MY priorities have completely changed. Of course I still pray for those in need, I mourn for families who have lost a loved ones, especially children, and love my neighbor. But when it comes to silly everyday crap ass drama... Ain't nobody got time for that!

Life is just too short to waste my precious time on nonsense.  This new outlook on life has been so liberating.  I no longer put up with crap from friends or family.  I would not say I was a doormat or pushover before motherhood, but I had a much higher tolerance for toxic bullshit. Now... Ain't nobody got time for that!

My life is so much simpler.  I love that.  I love that I don't care anymore what people will think. I love that I don't let friends or family suck me into toxic crap or wasteful situations.  I love that my focus is me and my family and that feels right.   Life is Good.

I hope Motherhood (or fatherhood) has brought you the same peace. xx
