Socially Unacceptable Sunday: Part two

Awww yeah, it's that time again... Socially Unacceptable Sunday, when we share the best of FTM&D's socially unacceptable behavior over the past week.  This week FTD was especially poorly behaved in a Kmart, Ollie was his usual man-child self and I was running my mouth and posting my socially unacceptable memes anywhere they would stick!

Enjoy....

This week on our Facebook Fan Page....

First of all.... The most socially unacceptable behavior of all...

Then there is the ultimate in socially unacceptable crackwhore... Mosqitos.  I found this and while I haven't tried it yet, have every intention of attempting the Homemade Mosquito Trap!!

Homemade Mosquito Trap

Materials:

1 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 gram of yeast (1/7th typical packet)
2-liter plastic bottle

Directions:
1. Cut the plastic bottle in half.
2. Mix brown sugar with hot water. Let cool. When cold, pour in the bottom half of the bottle.
3. Add the yeast. No need to mix. It creates carbon dioxide, which attracts mosquitoes.
4. Place the funnel part, upside down, into the other half of the bottle, taping them together if desired.
5. Wrap the bottle with something black, leaving the top uncovered, and place it outside in an area away from your normal gathering area. (Mosquitoes are also drawn to the color black.)

Change the solution every 2 weeks for continuous control.

And the biggest hit of the week on our fan page.... Three cheers for the smartest parents of last week!  That little girls face says it all... This shirt works! Great job mom and dad, you are my heroes!!

Of course we had a few discussions, and even more photos posted of FTD, Ollie and ME, but you will have to head over to our page to see.  This week we are really trying to make a push to grow our page. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE head over and like the First Time Mom & Dad Facebook Fan Page!

This week on the FTM&D Twitter feed...

Sadly the week started out with such tragedy...

Bombing The Boston Marathon... What the hell is happening to this world we live in. I want to hate the responsible. But will pray instead.

Now that I am a mom I have such a hard time with hate.  I don't know what's wrong with me!  I used to be able to hate everything...now I want to love and save.  DAMMIT! I have lost part of my inner bitch!

This was an inside joke between a fellow blogger and myself... this card is too funny... plus we all know this bitch....

This week on FTM&D Pinterest Boards!

I know this week I was supposed to figure out how to use Pinterest to find recipes and interior design like stuff... EPIC FAIL! But true to form, I brought the funny!

It's more like this...If only I didn't have to zip these pants up they would fit perfectly!

LOVE THIS!

You may remember this one from the "Firetrucks and Farts post."
Ok, seriously you all.. I laughed OUT LOUD to TEARS when FTD sent me this.
So, FYI: That's how jacked up I am... to me, this shit is epically funny!

I'm totally going to use this.
The last place I want my kid is bellied up to the mystery man's, mystery van.

This Week on FTM&D's Instagram...

When you see it... You will know why we should have been thrown out of Kmart...

That is FTD and his Grandfather... That profile looks EXACTLY like Ollie's!
This is Oliver's first ride on a tire swing... and his last for a while,
poor dude was not so sure about this...
God love him for putting up with us!

This week on FTM&D YouTube!

From FTD's video Archives.... an oldy but a goody...

Later today we will be uploading video of Ollie WALKING down the stairs.  Yes, 14-months old and walking down the stairs.
